Los preparativos para el segundo Heidelberg Laureate Forum (HLF) están en plena marcha. La Heidelberg Laureate Forum Foundation (HLFF) busca jóvenes matemáticos e informáticos excepcionales de todo el mundo que quieran tener la oportunidad de conocer personalmente a expertos distinguidos de ambas disciplinas y descubrir cómo convertirse en un destacado científico en su campo. Las solicitudes para una de las 200 exclusivas plazas en el Fórum (100 de cada disciplina) se aceptarán hasta el 28 de febrero de 2014.
El segundo HLF tendrá lugar del 21 al 26 de septiembre de 2014. Como en su anterior edición, reunirá ganadores del Premio Abel y de la Medalla Fields (matemáticas) así como el Premio Turing y el Premio Nevanlinna (informática) en una estimulante semana en Heidelberg, Alemania.
