Las columnas de iluminación de fondo de las imágenes, una serie de impresiones 3d y de cubos de cristal de superficies algebraicas, y los puestos interactivos de SURFER, jReality o Cinderella, son características de la exposición. Los nuevos applets de Cinderela del Museo Alemán de Munich se exhiben por primera vez fuera de Munich.
La inauguración ha tenido lugar el viernes 15 de noviembre de 2013, a la 1 de la tarde en el Museo de la Universidad NTNU, en el que permanecerá abierta hasta el 30 de marzo de 2014. Está previsto que la exposición recorra Noruega y sea presentada en otros museos de la ciencia.
La exposición ofrece visitas guiadas para colegios, cuya información se puede encontrarse en la página web en lengua noruega http://www. ntnu.no/vitenskapsmuseet/imaginary. Las visitas de colegios se pueden solicitar gratuitamente en http://www. vitensenteret.com/nb/imaginary, lugar en el que se encuentra una mayor información.
