The exhibition was accompanied by a plenary lecture by Prof. Gert-Martin Greuel at the conference and by a lecture ”IMAGINARY” in the Education section on December 22.

On December 21 there was a Live Interview with “Tuoi Tre”, the most popular magazine in Vietnam. The name of the magazine means “Youth”. On that interview, five world’s leading mathematicians answered readers questions about mathematics, basic sciences and shared experiences to develop mathematics in Vietnam. These thoughts were collected in this article on the same magazine, entitled “People would sink in the dark without mathematics”.
