Generative Clothing Designs (GCD) @ Swarthmore College
evento
8:30 am - 4:30pm
The Generative Clothing Designs (GCD) project seeks to bring together artists and programmers to create algorithmically generated clothing designs through a user-friendly online platform. We then make the clothing based on the generated designs. In this exhibition, we tell the story of the GCD project which includes the Swarthmore students, alumni, and external collaborators who helped make this possible. Over fifty artworks will be on display taking various forms including shirts, hats, bags, and other accessories. The images on display were created using our award-winning algorithmic drawing platform called AlgoArt (algoart.org).
We will be hosting a public opening reception for the Generative Clothing Designs (GCD) Exhibition.
