IMAGINARY team members Bianca Violet and Andreas Matt will give a talk “Mathematikon: A mathematical shopping center” at Bridges Finland 2016 conference in Jyväskylä.

Bridges Conference is an interdisciplinary conference on mathematics and art. The conference will feature presentations of full and short papers, hands-on workshops, invited talks, a juried art exhibition, a math/art short movie festival, a theater event, a music night, a mathematical poetry reading, a math/art excursion, a public day, and more.
IMAGINARY contributes with a talk about the “Mathematikon shops”, a mathematical shopping centre in Heidelberg, Germany, that opened in February 2016. The IMAGINARY team designed the artistic concept and several public exhibits, among them a parking lot image gallery, a Polyhedra shop window, a multitouch Cinderella station and magic riddle mirrors.
