Curious about how machine learning works and how to teach it?

IMAGINARY created a free and open-source online course for (prospective) teachers. It introduces two key topics of AI in a playful way: artificial neural networks and reinforcement learning.

A special highlight in this course are our “explorables”. They are small interactive games that run directly in your browser, require no extra software, and can be used in your own lessons.

The course is designed especially for STEM teachers and teachers in training (with a focus on computer science and mathematics), but it’s also suitable for workshops, project days, study groups, students, parents, and anyone interested in learning more about machine learning.

The prize is awarded for outstanding contributions to the communication and popularization of mathematics. The award comes with 4000 Euro prize money provided by the Walter de Gruyter Stiftung in Berlin.
