Welcome to a summer - or depending on the side of the globe: winter - full of conferences related to math art and math communication! IMAGINARY will be present at some of them, at others we would love to be there and hope to do so next time. We are very happy that the user response to the new IMAGINARY platform was so big - too big for our server capacity. Today in the morning we registered 1.3 million accesses on the site (before 11:30 am) and we had to react quickly to shift the website to a new server. This caused several delays and also the platform was not online for about 2 hours. We are very sorry for this!
Now the platform is up and running again and we will do our best to further improve it. We are looking forward for your feedback and for your mathematical creations. And here we give you the link to one of the main “causes” for high traffic today: an article in spiegel.de on our platform. Thanks for the article (next time we are prepared!).

Today the sixth Russian IMAGINARY exhibition opens its doors in Tomsk, Western Siberia. It is coordinate and organized by the German Embassy in Moscow in collaboration with the Polytechnical University of Tomsk. It will be open for the public from the 21st of May until the 3rd of June 2013.
