Wir freuen uns mitteilen zu können, dass wir ab Dezember 2014 von Cap’Maths bei der Einrichtung einer eigenständigen Sektion „IMAGINARY France“ gefördert werden. Deren Ziel ist, allen bereits existierenden Inhalt ins Französische zu übersetzen, mehr Beiträge von französischen Mathematikerinnen und Mathematikern zu bekommen und Ausstellungen und Events in Frankreich zu organisieren.
Ein erstes Treffen, bei dem die Zusammensetzung des Teams besprochen wird und Aktivitäten der kommenden Jahre geplant werden, wird vom 2. bis zum 4. Dezember in Orsay (hier die französische Ankündigung) und in Versailles (hier die französische Ankündigung) stattfinden.
