The leitmotiv of this year is Mathematics and Light, coinciding with the UNESCO international year of Light. The main event of the Salon is the public fair that occupies the Place St Sulpice in Paris, with more than 60 stands from associations, toy-makers, artists, artisans, schools, museums and more, all with mahtematical insights and challenges to the public. Special events include an exhibition Place de la Lumière; spectacles and meetings about astronomy, optics, colors, etc; a speed-meeting “métiers des maths” featuring professionals linked to mathematics; and several math games competitions around the stands.

From IMAGINARY we will have a micro-exhibition in our stand, with our classic exhibits and some new additions…
