The opening on April 19, 2016, and the first week of the exhibition will be held within the 14th Science Festival Rijeka, its theme is “Science and Art”. The Festival is organized by ‘Zlatni rez’ / ‘Golden Ratio’ association from Rijeka and University of Rijeka, and under the auspices of City of Rijeka and Primorsko-Goranska County.

Science Festival is manifestation organised with the aim of bringing science closer to people, primarily to children and youth, through one week of lectures, workshops, exhibitions, etc. The first Festival was organized in 2002. Since then, each year, the Festival has been expending in number and types of events hosted. For example, the 13th Science Festival was held in 18 Croatian cities and the 13th Science Festival in Rijeka, took place at 18 various locations in Rijeka, with the total of 150 events and 36 active participant institutions (university, museums, schools, kindergartens, civil society organizations, etc.).
